Mr. Shucks is a fantastic addition to Saint Simons Island! The Fried Green Tomatoes were perfect, and the Low Country Boil was some of the best I’ve ever had — cooked perfectly, not overdone. Our server, GW, was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, answering all of our menu questions with ease. The service truly matched the quality of the food. One detail that really stood out was the thoughtful touch at the end of the meal: warm lemon water bowls with hand wipes for cleaning up after the Low Country Boil. Such a smart and appreciated gesture. If you’re looking for fresh, perfectly prepared seafood and top-notch service, Mr. Shucks could easily be the best seafood spot on the island. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here for their soft opening and boy am I excited this place is here! The food is fantastic, the service was fast and friendly, and you get to wear a cute crab bib if you order one of the seafood feasts. I got the shrimp feast and the fried green tomatoes. The shrimp was super buttery and came with potatos, corn, sausage, and eggs. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and flavorful! As a bonus there is excellent ice cream next door to enjoy after dinner. Can’t wait to come back and try more things on the menu!

First time dining here and we loved amazing service the entire staff is extremely friendly. The food is delicious and the prices are truly reasonable. I would recommend going early for dinner if you want to avoid a wait. The saltwater fish tank at the entrance is a great touch. We tried the feast, catfish, snapper, shrimp and flounder they were all delicious!!

Oh my gosh! We loved this place. We stopped here while visiting the area. Everyone at Mr Shucks Seafood was absolutely delightful. Kiki, our server, served up our food with a warm smile and a "Can I get you anything else?" We learned that Kiki is the daughter of the founders of this place. We both ordered the daily special shrimp (anyway you want it cooked). We both got a side of fries, cole slaw and hushpuppies. It was delicious. BTW, you won't find hushpuppies on the menu. Here they are known as 'Miss Shuck's Pups'. This plac will be a regular stop for us when we are visiting the area. It should be for you too!

The Brunswick location always hits, and now I can say the same about the Saint Simon’s spot now. I knew as soon as I walked into the outdoor seating area and smelled the garlic butter and seasoning drifting out of the kitchen. Folks, I’ve tried items across the menu and have never been disappointed. If you’re new to the area or visiting for a time, you will undoubtedly hear several different seafood restaurants thrown out when asking for suggestions. I almost always answer this question with Shucks in Brunswick. Now I can proudly recommend their island location. You will not be disappointed.

Just stumbled upon Mr Shucks and so holy we did. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, had our samples of the garlic shrimp. Delish! Snacked on some oysters, shrimp and Buffalo eggs. If we were staying longer we would come back for the seafood platter which looked fantastic. Thought it was very reasonably priced too.

My husband and I stopped here yesterday for lunch. It was our first time! The atmosphere was lovely. Beautiful, classy, and somehow casual at the same time. They have $10 lunch specials 11-3 Monday through Thursday. Comes with an entree, one side, and a drink. Honestly, a really great deal! Our appetizer was fried green tomatoes. They were pretty good. For lunch, we each ordered the shrimp specials with coleslaw. My husband had fried shrimp with sweet chili sauce, and I had spicy garlic shrimp, blackened. Delicious, but the spicy garlic wasnt very spicy. We also got a tray of steamed oysters. We chose Mr Shucks sauce on them, which we were told were kind of Cajun flavored. However, they were more buffalo flavored than anything. If I could, I would go back and get a different sauce. I ended up getting food poisoning, I think from the oysters. My husband did not. It was my first time eating them, but I have no shellfish allergies And they were borderline raw even though they were steamed. All together though, we really did enjoy our visit. We will more than likely come back in the future. I just won't be eating any oysters lol!!

I had a religious experience! This place is 5 all away across the board. This new location is gorgeous! The detail that went into the decor shows a true reflection of passion. The service was AMAZING! 1) They offered and tied my Bib. 2) My phone was ringing and the server offered to answer and put it to my ear. 3) Mr. C took the time to speak with us about the food, restaurant and the family history. Truly, not just food but an experience. We were told they have only been at this location for 15wks. I hope they have a long and successful journey with this 2nd location.
